Make Vegetable Upma

Material:

  • 1 cup semolina
  • 1/2 cup chopped vegetables (carrots, peas, beans, capsicum)
  • 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
  • 2-3 curry leaves
  • 1-2 green chillies (finely chopped)
  • 2 cups water
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
  • salt to taste
Prepare following this step:

  1. Lightly fry the semolina and keep aside.
  2. Heat some oil in a pan, splutter mustard seeds and curry leaves.
  3. Add chopped vegetables and turmeric to it and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Add 2 cups of water, and when the water starts boiling, add the semolina.
  5. Mix well and cook on low flame for 3-4 minutes.
