Make Vegetable Upma
Material:
- 1 cup semolina
- 1/2 cup chopped vegetables (carrots, peas, beans, capsicum)
- 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
- 2-3 curry leaves
- 1-2 green chillies (finely chopped)
- 2 cups water
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
- salt to taste
Prepare following this step:
- Lightly fry the semolina and keep aside.
- Heat some oil in a pan, splutter mustard seeds and curry leaves.
- Add chopped vegetables and turmeric to it and cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Add 2 cups of water, and when the water starts boiling, add the semolina.
- Mix well and cook on low flame for 3-4 minutes.
